Lift for the Kids is currently in talks with the Hamilton Tiger Cats to have 6 Pack Lapadat attempt a Guinness World record in weightlifting.
As always, the feat of strength will be to raise money for sick children. This time it will be to raise funds for the Hamilton children’s hospital.
The event is tentatively slated for July 16th, and will be aired live on National TV during a Hamilton Tiger Cats game.
There is also discussion of 6 Pack pulling an airplane in either Hamilton or Toronto as a twin event to raise funds for the Hamilton children’s hospital. This would take place 2-3 weeks before the Guinness World record attempt in weightlifting, possibly on Canada day.
The air plane pull and Guinness World record will be to encourage people to help these sick kids. We are all lucky if no kids who we love are sick. If they were, we’d do anything for them. $10 is not much to give to change a kid’s life.
